Join the plucky Dick Whittington and his best friend Charley the Cat on their quest for fame and fortune in the bright lights of London, where they believe the streets are paved with gold. However, when they arrive they actually find the streets are indeed paved with rats, with the evil ‘King Rat’ at the realm. With the help of their new friends, ‘Alice Fitzwarren & Sarah The Cook’ will they defeat these riotous rats and save London?

We aim to make the relaxed performance an affordable experience and is suitable for all families including those families with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). It will feature reduced lighting effects and reduced sound effects and the atmosphere is exactly that – relaxed! The lights aren’t turned off and there will be a ‘chill-out’ area if the experience becomes overwhelming. Generally, people are allowed to enter and leave the auditorium freely, and there is a more open attitude towards audience noise and movement.
