In addition to the outstanding facility of the McMillan Theatre, the iconic Arts House building based in Taunton boasts industry-focused facilities and an interdisciplinary learning environment where creativity, experimentation, problem solving and critical reflection are key to the development of every student. The Arts House encourages different art forms to work alongside one another to create a collaborative platform for students, staff and professional practitioners, one that can foster debate and spark innovation – just what the creative industries are looking for.
In 2018 we were awarded a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) silver award for our high quality teaching, learning and outcomes for students, in particular with regards to retention and progression to graduate level employments and further study.
